2008 was the 300th anniversary of the first Janse van Rensburg's (Claas Jansz) landing at the Cape.

The information has been organised around my son Nicolas, the youngest member of our family, born July 2006 in Canada. I also rely (amongst other methods) on DNA research to find his family links.
